Nutrition is survival


Today, even though we live in a society where we hunt and gather take aways that need to be microwaved instead of game that needed to be speared, we are still hunter-gatherers. the problem is that we are hunting and gathering processed food. Even though we are modern humans with central heating in our caves and ready-to-eat meals at deli counters, we are still human.

Life is an all-you can-eat buffet. Pick the wrong foods and you expand your gut, harm your heart and shave year off your life.

Fact – you are going to consume more calories from November through to January than you normally would at other times of the year, even if it’s just moderately more – that’s reality. A natural combatant would then be to increase your physical activity to burn more calories. Walk more, run more, throw in an extra gym session or stay a bit longer than usual – movement burns calories, so whatever you can do to be more active, goes a long way.
