It’s that time of year when we collectively take stock of where we are, what we dislike about where we are, and where we want to be instead.

My 2 cents worth:

When we’re being negatively impacted by some element in our life, it’s up to us to make a decision and determine whether it’s a tolerable situation or an intolerable situation.

And then we choose whether to accept it or change course. There’s no middle ground.

How to proceed? Assuming the choice has been made to change course: you just do it. It doesn’t matter if you go in the right direction or the wrong direction. It’s all going to suck. Change is hard.

But… if you’re hesitating because you’re waiting for change to be comfortable, you’ve actually made the decision to remain where you are.

Embrace the suck.

Fitnut Innovations believe that new years resolution is only a stepping point towards changing your life so instead of making a new years resolution make a life style change under the guise of a new years resolution and in doing so you will be more inclined to stick to it.

We promote overall health, mind body and soul. If you can create it in your mind you can hold it in your hand. A healthy body isn't about having a six pack it's about feeling good in your own skin, the perfect body is always the body you feel good about. After all it's all about you.

All the exercise in the world won’t help you lose weight if your nutrition is out of whack. It's not about counting calories, it's about making real changes.

When creating resolutions, ask yourself questions like:

How do you want to feel? Will this resolution get you closer to that?

What energy do you want to create? Will this resolution give you that type of energy?

Are you operating from a place of restriction, or abundance?

Does this resolution involve taking away things you like?

Would you recommend this resolution to your younger sister or best friend?

How will this resolution impact you five, 10, or 15 years from now?

It’s so easy to forget.

To forget all that we have to be grateful for.

And so much of it is constantly hiding in plain sight.

So this month we want to keep coming back to ground into the idea of how grateful we are for so much in our lives. And we are hoping to inspire others to consider…

That the beating of each of our hearts is sometimes enough. And that both the breath as well as the moment in-between breaths is a worthy miracle to revere.

And a new day, every day, again and again…this is a gift every single sunrise.

One deserving of acknowledgment.

All this even before we begin to talk about our ability to laugh, and to dance, and to create, love, and smile.

Renewing our gratitidue is the first step to living with a fuller cup.

Its an attunement of perspective.

And is unlocked in one simple choice:

Do we want to live in a world where our hearts are full and our life is magic?

Hopefully we all do.

So let us start this month by saying thank you.

May this month bring you all that you need and desire…
